The 4^th Central European Gas Congress and the 43rd International Gas Conference and Exhibition is a jointly organised meeting for the gas companies, eminent decision-makers and investors, as well as engineering, development, IT, telecommunications, appliance manufacturer, contractor, servicing and construction engineering, companies and practical experts in the region.

The Hungarian Gas Association will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its foundation and it will organise, involving sister and other professional organisations, the greatest professional event of the year between 15-17th, June 2011 at Budapest, in the Budapest Congress & World Trade Center.

As a special addition, Hungary is holding the EU Presidency in the first half of 2011, and the Hungarian gas industry has great pleasure in acting as the host of this meeting and welcoming representatives of gas associations of and managers of the member gas companies from the so-called Visegrad countries, i.e. friends from Poland, Czekia and Slovakia. This is going to be the fourth year these countries can hold such meeting hosted in rotation, as a clear demonstration of active cooperation of the Visegrad countries offering an excellent opportunity for exchanging experiences in order to support gas market liberalisation in the EU and to establish an integrated European gas market, as well as to share their views and concepts in the interest of improving the security of natural gas supply in the Central European region.

This is an outstanding chance for you to personally get acquainted with players of the Central European gas market and the stakeholders of the industry, and to obtain first hand information from experts in natural gas supply and consumption!

We are confident that you will also find this event as an excellent opportunity for exchanging information, experiences and opinions, as well as for further developing international cooperation in the dynamically changing natural gas markets of Central Europe.
